These terms govern your use of SellStuff (sellstuff.ai), operated by Rolmn E-Commerce LLC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates (Commercial Registration No. 1701308.01).
By using SellStuff you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. About SellStuff
SellStuff is an online marketplace that allows individuals in Dubai to buy and sell second-hand items. SellStuff facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers, handles payment collection and coordinates delivery through our logistics partner.
SellStuff is not the owner or seller of items listed by users. We act as an intermediary.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United Arab Emirates to use SellStuff. We currently serve Dubai only.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
3. Listing Items
By listing an item you confirm that:
- You legally own the item and have the right to sell it
- The item is genuine and not counterfeit, replica or stolen
- Your photos and description accurately represent the item
- The item is not on our prohibited or restricted list
- The item weighs under 5kg and fits the box size you selected
SellStuff uses AI to help create listings. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your listing, including the title, description, condition and price.
We may remove any listing at our discretion without notice.
4. Prohibited and Restricted Items
Certain items cannot be listed on SellStuff. Our full prohibited and restricted items list is available at sellstuff.ai/prohibited-items and forms part of these terms.
Listing prohibited items may result in immediate removal of your listing, suspension or permanent closure of your account, and reporting to the relevant UAE authorities.
5. Counterfeit Goods
SellStuff operates a zero-tolerance policy on counterfeit, replica and stolen goods. Our Anti-Counterfeit Policy is available at sellstuff.ai/counterfeit-policy and forms part of these terms.
6. Security Deposit
Sellers must pay a refundable security deposit of AED 99 before their first listing goes live.
The deposit covers failed collection fees and may be used to cover losses caused by a seller's breach of these terms.
You may request your deposit back at any time provided you have no active listings or pending orders. Refunds are processed to your registered bank account within 3–5 business days.
7. Pricing and Fees
Sellers set the amount they wish to receive. SellStuff charges a service fee of 12% on each sale.
Buyers pay a single total price shown on the listing, which includes the seller's price, the SellStuff service fee and the delivery fee.
Delivery fees are charged to the buyer based on the box size selected by the seller:
- Small (L34 × W23 × H22cm) — AED 59
- Medium (L43 × W32 × H23cm) — AED 69
- Large (L54 × W54 × H54cm) — AED 89
The maximum seller price for a single item is currently AED 1,000.
Fees may change. Changes will not affect listings or orders already in progress.
8. Negotiation
Our AI assistant negotiates with buyers on behalf of sellers. Sellers set a minimum acceptable price which is never disclosed to buyers and is never exceeded downward.
A price agreed through negotiation is binding on both parties once the buyer proceeds to payment.
9. Payment
Payments are processed by our payment provider. SellStuff does not store your card details.
Payment is taken at the time of purchase and held until the transaction completes. Funds are released to the seller after delivery is confirmed and the buyer inspection window has passed.
10. Collection and Delivery
Once an item sells, the seller must select a collection slot within 72 hours. Orders where no collection slot is selected within 72 hours are automatically cancelled and the buyer is refunded in full.
Once collection is confirmed, the buyer selects a delivery slot.
Our courier photographs every item before packing. These photos form the record of the item's condition at collection.
Buyers may choose to receive their item in person or have it left at their door. Choosing leave at door waives the right to raise a dispute, except where the courier's packing photos show the item was damaged before collection or the wrong item was delivered.
11. Failed Collection
If our courier attends and the seller is unavailable, the item is not ready, or the item does not match the size or weight selected, a failed collection fee of AED 49 is deducted from the seller's security deposit.
Repeated failed collections may result in suspension of your seller account.
12. Buyer Inspection and Disputes
Buyers have 24 hours from delivery to raise a concern about an item. After 24 hours the sale is final and payment is released to the seller.
Valid grounds for a dispute include the item being significantly different from the listing, arriving damaged, or the wrong item being delivered.
SellStuff reviews all disputes and our decision is final. We may require photographs or other evidence.
Where a dispute is upheld, the buyer is refunded and the item may be returned to the seller at the seller's cost.
13. Free Items
Sellers may list items for free. Buyers pay only the delivery fee for the item's box size.
Free items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances. Delivery fees on free items are non-refundable. By claiming a free item you waive all dispute and return rights.
14. Seller Payouts
Sellers are paid the amount they approved when creating the listing, less nothing further.
Payouts are transferred to the seller's registered bank account within 3–5 business days of the order completing.
Sellers must provide accurate bank account details and complete identity verification before their first payout. The name on the bank account must match the name on the identity document provided.
15. Identity Verification
SellStuff may require sellers to verify their identity by providing a copy of their Emirates ID before payouts are released.
Identity documents are stored securely, accessible only to authorised SellStuff staff, and used solely for verification and regulatory compliance.
16. Account Suspension and Closure
We may issue a warning, suspend your ability to sell, or permanently close your account where you breach these terms, list prohibited items, repeatedly fail collections, or act dishonestly.
Where your account is suspended, your active listings are removed from the marketplace. Any pending orders are handled according to these terms.
You may close your account at any time provided you have no active listings or pending orders.
17. Limitation of Liability
SellStuff facilitates transactions between users. We are not the seller and do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality or accuracy of any item listed.
To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, SellStuff's total liability in connection with any transaction is limited to the amount paid by the buyer for that transaction.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.
18. Your Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use SellStuff for any unlawful purpose
- List items you do not own or have the right to sell
- Misrepresent an item's condition, authenticity or value
- Attempt to complete transactions outside the platform to avoid fees
- Interfere with the platform's operation or security
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent suspension
19. Data and Privacy
We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy at sellstuff.ai/privacy, which forms part of these terms.
20. Intellectual Property
All content on SellStuff, including the platform, branding and software, is owned by Rolmn E-Commerce LLC. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our written permission.
By uploading photos and descriptions you grant SellStuff a licence to use them for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect when published on this page. Changes do not affect orders already in progress.
Continued use of SellStuff after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
22. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
